Tan Zheng Rui is a Singaporean composer whose music draws from fragmented reflections of his current and past experiences and contemplations, to craft personal sonic worlds. His current exploration delves into the living being's aural perception and its relation with one's memory. He will be pursuing a major in composition in the future.

Zheng Rui's works have been performed by artists like weirdaftertaste and Martin Jaggi. He has also dabbled into other areas, other than his expertise, to develop his musicianship. He has attended workshops such as soundpainting by Dirk Stromberg, and conducting by Seow Yibin. Ever since, he has attempted to conduct his school's Chinese Orchestra for several occasions. Other than that, he is also a pianist and a yangqin player.
